Macau Grand Prix winner Dan Ticktum leads the Red Bull Junior Team into 2018 with five other talented teens equally eager to make their name. Neil Verhagen is also in the squad for a second season and two newcomers, Dennis Hauger and Jack Doohan, complete the formula line-up. Jonny Edgar and Harry Thompson continue their karting careers and mark a return to karting for the Red Bull Junior Team.
Nirei Fukuzumi is a seventh name to look out for as the Japanese, who turns 21 on January 24th, is now a Red Bull athlete. He will contest the Japan Super Formula for Team Mugen, adding to the partnership with Honda, and F2 for Arden Motorsport.
Dan Ticktum - June 8th 1999
The 18-year-old Briton added the last five races of the GP3 year to his 2017 Formula Renault Eurocup season and scored podiums in both series. He now steps into the FIA F3 European Championship with Team Motopark for whom he was driving when he won the Macau Grand Prix at the end of last year.
Neil Verhagen - February 18th 2001
The American 16-year-old will contest the Formula Renault Eurocup again this coming season after a good debut in 2017. He has now joined Tech 1 racing and they headed all 3 official series end of season test days at Barcelona and Paul Ricard.
Jack Doohan – January 20th 2003
The British F4 championship is the proving ground for the 14-year-old Australian who draws on Arden's experience as he steps up from karting after finishing third in the 2017 CIK-FIA European Junior Championship.
Dennis Hauger – March 17th 2003
Stepping up from kart racing the 14-year-old Norwegian starts his British F4 championship career with Arden after winning the 2017 German Championship DKM OK Senior Class, the youngest ever champion.
Harry Thompson – August 5th 2004
A full season of karting awaits the British 13-year-old, contesting the OK class for Ricky Flynn Motorsport and driving for Fusion Motorsport in the X30 class. Last year he won the IAME International World Final (X30 Junior).
Jonny Edgar - February 13th 2004
Winning the OK-Junior European Championship in 2017 was just the latest in a long line of karting successes and the 13-year-old Briton will now contest the OK-Senior karting category for Forza Racing.
