Doohan suits up for Sepang 2 – F3 Asia

#7 Jack Doohan (AUS – Pinnacle Motorsport Tatuus Alfa Romeo)
F3 Asian Championship position: 2nd – 125 points – after 9 of 15 races

Getting back to his winning ways this weekend in Sepang at the penultimate round of the Asian F3 Series is the priority for Jack Doohan. The Australian Red Bull Junior who turned 17 on January 20th took a win in the opening weekend of the series, also in Sepang, back in December.

Another victory at Round 2 in January showed again his championship potential but his campaign took a knock in Round 3 with a technical DNF.

"That's all in the past, we can't change that, we can't effect such things anyway," asserted the straight talking Pinnacle Motorsport driver. "The focus is all ahead and the next six races."

"We know that we've got to get the results and have Joey (Alders) behind us, it's as simple as that. So that is the aim from the start of Free Practice. Get ourselves into a position that we can make the best of the Qualifying sessions and go from there." Alders is the points leader and he has an advantage of 48 with 75 points on offer over three races this weekend.

"I've done plenty of laps here, we know we have the pace, a good car so we can only go ahead and give it our best. I think we can certainly pull it off and even if we don't we'll have our heads held high knowing we did everything possible."
