The Red Bull Juniors all ran at the front last time out at Hockenheim and the trio of Tsunoda, Doohan and Lawson head to Spa this weekend with high hopes for the fourth Euroformula Open event of the season.

Yuki Tsunoda ready to experience a classic

"It is another new track for me," explained the 19-year-old Japanese who campaigns the Motopark Volkswagen Dallara. "So like Hockenheim I will be concentrating on my own driving and learning the track when we start practice. I have had no sim time and only a look on a video game. I know which way the track goes but it will be a learning experience for me."

"We had a good event at Hockenheim so I have confidence in the car and the team and that gives me confidence going to Spa. It is a classic Grand Prix track that I have heard a lot about so I am very interested to see it and try it," enthused the Honda Formula Dream Project driver who won Race 2 at Hockenheim.

Liam Lawson ticks one off

"I am very excited about the weekend," stated the 17-year-old New Zealander. "It's an iconic track and I watched a lot of F1 Races from there on the TV growing up. It's certainly something special, really really cool to be driving there myself."

"It's a long track and it's going to take a bit of learning. I've been in the Red Bull sim so I am absolutely as prepared as I can be for it but of course it's a bit of an unknown until you actually drive it."

"We should be in a good position with the car, we've got a good base now but it's going to be a different aero set-up with the very long straights so there will certainly be some work to do when we get out on track," added the Motopark driver.

Jack Doohan with some track knowledge

"It is an awesome circuit, one of the coolest on calendar," enthused the 16-year-old Australian. "I'm going into it with the same mindset as Hockenheim, looking for more good results. Of course I want to do at least as well as I did there and try and take one more step up the podium but I don't want to talk it up too much, I've got to see how it goes."

"We tested there earlier in the year, the track was a bit patchy, damp in places but at least I know where it goes and it is a fantastic circuit," stated the Double R Racing driver. "So I will be just concentrating on getting back into the rhythm there, adapting to the conditions and getting the most out of it.

"We were a lot happier with the car at Hockenheim than earlier in the season so we should be starting with a good base setting but you can't be absolutely sure until practice starts."
