The Euroformula Open Championship is a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that are held across Europe. The championship will feature drivers competing in two-litre F3 racing cars built by Italian constructor Dallara which conform to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It will be the sixth Euroformula Open Championship in the 2019 season.
For the first time since inception, the championship will feature multiple power unit manufacturers, allowing to use Mercedes and Volkswagen engines. It is scheduled to have equalised performance of the powerplants, in terms of both power and torque like in the GT3 racing.
